Lovely day!

For a couple off days the weather has been very nice here in Amsterdam, so me and my boyfriend decided to take a walk in the park and enjoy the lovely sun. We ended sitting by the water and just staring at the boat floating by. How was your weekend?

At first I thought: "wow these shoes are big..!" But when I saw all the different colors I really liked them!

You know that one bag that you saw on a photo or on the streets and it has never left your mind... Yeah well I have it with this bag: The Alexander Wang Rocco Satchel with antique brass hardware.

It's a leather textured duffle bag with a double handle and body strap, and the signature studs/bullets on the bottom.

I really love this bag because of the studs on the bottom, it gives it a little bit of a rock sense to it.

One day i'm gonna have this bag watch me!!

Music and Fashion battle

 Today was a great day! I walked for the show off David Paulus, a starting young fashion designer. He was competing against 3 other designers in the "MAF Fashionbtattle." Unfortunately he didn't win but came in third place.I met a lot of great people and his designs were amazing! Very futuristic but still elegant.

Obsession?

I have a confession.

I think a have a little obsession with bow ties.
They're so elegant and can make an outfit a little more sophisticated, even if you are wearing just jeans an a blouse. You can wear it at a formal occasion but also on a casual occasion. And personally I think it's a little bit sexy.

Free starbucks

So today was a weird day... I barely had enough money for the train to get home so I was a little moody. Then I went by my old school to see some of my friends so that was a fun because I hadn't seen them in a long time. It was a short visit because they had to go back to class. But then.. haha wauw... Then when I was waiting for my train again a boy in a Starbucks apron came to me and asked if I wanted a free coffee!! They were training their new employees so they needed a few customers. I took a Caramel hot chocolate with whipcream and it was delicious!
That really made my day so I had to post it for you guys haha.

Hello world!

Hey guys!


My name is Soraya Fausha Gunning Waterval (waterfall in English haha!) and I am 17 years old. I was born and raised in the beautiful city called Amsterdam! I am from Surinamese and Chinese origin. Both my parents are from Surinam. I am a student and in my last year of high school. This means that I have to think what I want to do after my graduation and I really have NO IDEA! The things I really like are music and dancing. I've been dancing since I was 5 or 6. I started with hiphop/streetdance but now I do all the styles. Dancing has been a big part off my life and still is. The other thing I really like is of course fashion. Ever since I was little I was picking out my clothes and always wanted to look perfect. Sure I have my days that I just want to sit in my sweatpants and big sweaters but who doesn't?!
I am starting this blog to show people what fashion means for me by showing outfits and things that inspire me.
