As you can see I was inspired by some pictures I saw on Tumblr and wanted to try it myself. It made my outfit a little more classy I think hihi.

Downtown Fashion Week - Jutka & Riska

Well hello guys!

Yesterday I went to another downtown fashion show here in Amsterdam. It was the show off the brand Jutka & Riska. I actually never heard of it but thought why not it could be fun! Because it is fashion week they had a one day pop-up store at the MC theater, that is also where the fashion show was held.

I went with my good friend Jazzmin Nilsson  (click here for her blog) to the show. The store had a little like a vintage store sense to it and I really liked that. They were a lot of cute accessories what I really liked. The clothes were also vintage I think but then customized but I'm not sure. It was very futuristic with stars, neon colors and metallic.

The fashion show was held every half hour and we went to the first one. We talked to another blogger and a photographer what was very interesting. The show was short but very fun! You could see the futuristic influences in the silver metallic stockings they were wearing but they also had those little vintage Louis Vuitton bags what made it very cute!

Fashion Factory part II

Well hello lovely people,

Here part II of the Fashion Factory!

It wasn't all models and designers at the fashion factory, there were of course A LOT of fashionista's and bloggers. It was great to see all the people with different styles but who still are just like me so interested in fashion and style. I've met a lot of great people who looked fabulous! I almost felt a little under dressed haha!

 There were also little stands for all sorts of brands so you could shop.

Music and Fashion Battle - The Fashion Factory Part I

Heey guys!

I got some very exciting pictures for you guys. Yesterday I went with my good friend Jazzmin Nilsson ( also a blogger, check her amazing blog please! click here) to the Music and Fashion battle (MAFB) at the Fashion Factory in Amsterdam, it's a part of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. It's basically a competition for starting designers and models. I've mentioned it before when I walked a show a while a go.

This was the Final Edition where the four, discovered by MAFB designers have worked hard recent months on a new collection to show the judges. The Final Edition is not only the final battle for the designers but also for the four winning models from last year.

All these pieces really inspired me and got me thinking about what I want to do after I graduate!

But enough of the sweet talk, here some pictures off the show.

Downtown Fashionweek

Hey guys!

Yesterday was a very exciting day because I had to perform at a fashionshow! With a few other friends we put togheter a modern/jazz choreo. We've been training very hard the last two months and today was finally the day we could perform it.

This week is also the Amsterdam International Fashion Week and my friend David Paulus a young starting fashion designer had his show in the Down Town program. His collection was called Alice & The Dolls. As you can guess the theme was a little bit Alice in wonderland!

Better late than never

Hey guys!

It's been a while since christmas but I still wanted to do a post about it. Every year, on the second day of christmas there is a big family dinner so this year too. It is always very fun. This year my boyfriend joined us for the first time but everything went well and he was welcomed in the family with open arms.

Ofcourse there was A LOT of delicious food so by the end of the night I could't even stand anymore haha!

From my outfit I really love the jacket. I bought it a year ago and wore it once, when I was looking trough closet and saw it, I instantly knew I wanted to wear this!

Happy New Year, Happy New Hair

Hey guys!

I know it's been a while since my last post buttttt... I'M BACK! And I'm better than ever ( I hope haha ).
I wanna start by wishing everybody a happy new year, I hope everybode had a nice new years eve!

So, I was getting a little bored with my hair and really wanted to do somethng with it. Last year I got some bangs but after a while it kind off got boring. A few days before new years eve I decided to dye it black! I litteraly got up from the couch and rushed to the store. I used Syoss, colour: Noir and here is the result! I hope you like it!
