Styling workshop | Key piece

Helleur everybody!

I got a new "topic" for you guys. I've been in this styling workshop called Styled by you for a few weeks now. It's a workshop where you learn all the aspects what a stylist has to do to prepare a look for a client. I'm having a lot of fun and I'm learning a lot. Because I have to think about my future, styling has really caught my attention. It's just too bad that there aren't that many good stylist schools so we'll see haha.

For this weeks assignment I had to pick one piece of clothing and make 3 different styles with it. I immediately picked my leather jacket because, as I mentioned before, that's my favourite item. The pictures aren't that good but I still hope you like what I put together!

The rock chick:  

This is more a rocky look, it's something I woukd wear in the summer but I think I would wear it without 

  the stockings actually. It's a little too sexy for me maybe haha.

The urban/casual/classy look:

 I really like this combination, it suprises me why I haven't thought of it before. I would wear this also in the summer or spring when I got to the city or maybe if I have a short day at school.

The classy with some edge:

So this look is something I would wear to an fashion event maybe or when I have a dinner but don't want to be too fancyfancy. I think the leather jacket gives the outfit a little edge so it isn't too girly and that more my style.

Gifts | Valentine's day

Hey guys,

It's a little late I know but I still wanted to share this with you guys. Me and my boyfriend had our first valentine's day and it was amazing! We couldn't celebrate it on the 14th because we both were busy with school and work but we did it on the 15th and it was very speacial. We agreed to not do presents but I couldn't stop myself, I had to get him something! First I suprised him with a romantic dinner at a cute little restaurant and there I gave him his presents. I got him the Transformers dvd box because all three of them are his favorite movies. I also made a collage of all the pictures we had of us together and put that in a frame. He didn't expect anything so he was very suprised and that made me very happy.

A few days later he suprised me with some presents too! I needed a watch for a while now, so he got me a nice watch and a beautiful necklace. I'm very happy with my presents and I'm very happy with my boyfriend!

Outfit | Just a random day

Holaa everybody!

I hope everybody enjoyed his and her weekend, I sure as hell did! A quick recap for you guys, on friday my boyfriend and I watched movies all day long, on saturday I did totally nothing but watching Jersey Shore on my laptop and today I had another nice day with my boyfriend hihi! We went to the city and walked for a little bit aaaaand.. We also shot some pictures for an outfit post!

It's the first time that I did the pictures outside but it was very fun.. Till it started to rain luckily we were almost finished so I got some good pictures for you. At first it looked like it would be a nice sunny day today but that suddenly changed. I don't really know how to discribe this outfit actually. When it's cold I like to wear beanies so most of the time I steal them from my boyfriend haha. And as you can see I'm wearing my leather jacket. That jacket, I think, is my favourite item in my wardrobe. It fits with everything! Too bad that is has been too cold lately to wear it but today was an exception.

The Suit

Oops I did it again! I couldn't help myself but I snooped trough my moms closet again and this time I found an old pantsuit with bootcut legs. I already had the jacket but now I found the pants that go with it. My mom used to go to work in this outfit but that was like ten years ago so that's why it's been in the back off her closet for ages.

I really like the pants because it makes my legs look longer and not so skinny haha also the bootcut style is something I very like but never really dared to wear. Maybe that's going to change now.. In real life the color is a little green-ish but on the pictures it looks a little grey or something.

The Denim Short

Heey guys!

I was looking trough my moms closet and I found these old pants from the 90's I think. They were high waist Guess pants. I immediately fell in love with it and started working on it. Because I already have normal high waist pants I wanted to add something to this one. I began looking in the house for stuff I could use and some studs and some lace, so there I go in the middle of the night sewing these things on the pants. I think I've stabbed myself a couple of times but the result looks great and I already have a lot of outfits in my head that go with these pants so I'm very excited to wear them. Like what I've done?

New stuff!

Hey guys,

Like I said yesterday I've gotten myself some nice simple things I needed. Some as a preview to the summer and some just because it was cute hihi. I can not wait till it's warm enough so I don't have to wear tights under my pants anymore!

Preview - New stuff

Well hello my fashionable people!

I got a nice preview for you guys! I went shopping and got some little things I needed and something as a preview to the summer. The weather here in Amsterdam has been awfull but after this weekend the temperatures will be going up! For me that is a really good thing because I hate the cold. WinterWonderLand?

Hello amazing peoples!

So this whole week the weather people on tv have been speculating that it would snow this week. The temperature had been coming waaay down so it wasn't unlikely that it would snow. Well people... Today is the day IT IS SNOWING!!

Personally I don't really like snow, only when I'm at home on the couch with the heather very high and a nice cup of tea or hot chocolate. So that is what I'll be doing these next couple of days haha.
